YMOS What the Peck Middle School Team
We are one of the World Series of Birding middle school teams, “What the Peck”. We come from the Maryland area, and Northern Virginia and are members of the Youth Maryland Ornithological Society (YMOS). Our team consists of Team Captain, Gavin Hausladen, as well as Karolina Mandell, Mikie Minkiewicz and Rylee Cordrey.
We are all avid birders and can’t wait to use our skills on Saturday, May 10, 2025 to peck out the locations of even the rarest of species. We hope to have the competition scratching their heads and saying, “What the peck?”
