The Valiant Vortex Vultures is a team made up of students from the Bruderhof Schools hailing from upstate New York and southwest Pennsylvania!  These students will band together for the first time as a team to put forward their best effort as we journey to the Cape May area in search of world class birding. Our schools are proud to send these student representatives to a competition that so aligns with our beliefs in the importance of experiencing and appreciating the natural world. 

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, our team will be participating in New Jersey Audubon’s World Series of Birding, now in its 42nd year. It is the longest running birding competition and fundraiser in the US.
