Patel Meyer & Blue Crew - Our Second World Series of Birding!
First established in 1984, the World Series of Birding is a 24-hour competition to find, by sight or sound, as many different species of birds as possible.
My team will be fundraising to support New Jersey Audubon and will be searching high and low for as many birds as we can find across New York City, Harrisburg, and north/central New Jersey.
We will start in the early hours of the morning and continue until night. We'll be ready with all the gear -- binoculars, scope, tripod, field guide apps -- and enough snacks to keep us going without stopping!
Our goal is to find at least 75 bird species -- which won't be enough to take home the trophy (the winner usually tallies at least 200!), but won't be a total embarrassment given this is only our second time competing in the World Series!
We appreciate donations in any amount! All funds go toward New Jersey Audubon, in furtherance of its mission to protect birds and their habitats through environmental conservation and advocacy.
Thank you for your support!
