Welcome to Team Surf Birds Page
On Saturday, May 10, 2025 we will be out in search of birds as part of New Jersey Audubon’s World Series of Birding, the longest running birding competition and fundraiser in the US.
We are a father, son team who loves birds and surfing! We have a long history in Cape May and proud to be raising funds for New Jersey Audubon's Cape May Bird Observatory.
As much as we love birding we also enjoy time in the waves. While we will be trying to see as many species as we can south of the Cape May canal (mostly!) if the waves are good, we'll be birding from our boards!
