The Century Run Team — Where Legend Meets Legacy

In the spirit of that historic midnight on May 19, 1984, when 13 pioneering teams set out to change the world one bird at a time, our Century Run Team has been carrying that torch since May 14, 1988 — when our founder leader Randy Little took the team to the field and tallied an remarkable 89 species in a single exhilarating day.

For over three decades, we've been part of North America's most spirited conservation fundraising event — the World Series of Birding — where teams race against the clock for 24 hours, identifying as many bird species as possible by sight or sound. But this is so much more than a competition. Every species spotted, every dollar raised, and every mile covered is a testament to our passion for protecting the birds and habitats that make our world extraordinary.
